About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on ensuring the highest level of service and maintenance for our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles
  • Work closely with our maintenance team to ensure the highest level of service and maintenance
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the optimal performance of our fleet
  • Collaborate with our training team to develop and deliver training programs for our maintenance team
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification or proven technical experience
  • Problem Solver – Actively seeking solutions
  • Open Communicator – Encouraging collaboration
  • Team Player – Working together to achieve goals
  • Organised – Keeping to deadlines
  • Flexible – Willing to take on a variety of tasks

Preferred but not Essential Requirements

  • LGV/HGV/PCV licence an advantage
  • Bus and coach experience an advantage
  • IRTEC accreditation desirable but not essential as we have IRTEC courses available
