Job Title: Lead Educator for Specialist SEMH Needs
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at a Specialist Day School in Guildford.
About Us:
SENCare Recruitment is a niche recruitment agency that provides Special Educational Needs (SEN) professionals for SEN schools, mainstream schools, residential care homes, and 1-1 home support through local authorities across the UK.
We offer short/long-term placements on a temporary and permanent basis for specialist SEN teachers, teaching assistants, support workers, social workers, VI/HI practitioners, and mid-day meal supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- To plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons tailored to individual learning styles and SEMH needs
- To foster a supportive and positive classroom environment that promotes engagement and progress
- To collaborate with the wider teaching and support staff to ensure holistic development for each student
Requirements:
We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience working with children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. You should have a good understanding of curriculum developments and be able to provide guidance and support to students with SEMH needs.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
