Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join AXA XL as a Specialist for Ceded Reinsurance Operations. As a key member of the Ceded Reinsurance Technical Operations team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the lifecycle of Treaty reinsurance, ensuring seamless administration and effective management of our global specialty reinsurance portfolio.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and operating ceded reinsurance within three operating system tools, partnering with intermediaries to address sanction-related issues, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to improve the sanction review process. You will also work closely with our operations team in ESS Shared Services, India, to build strong relationships and ensure efficient communication.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing ceded reinsurance across multiple operating systems
  • Liaising with intermediaries to resolve sanction-related issues
  • Collaborating with internal teams to review and improve the sanction review process
  • Supporting the transformation journey of Ceded Reinsurance by actively participating in projects to drive efficiency and suggest improvements
  • Overseeing cash calls and ensuring contractual reporting requirements are met
About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Experience working with multiple lines of business in a reinsurance environment
  • Advanced Excel skills and potential experience with Access
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Coaching and capability-building skills, with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Agile time management and organization skills
