About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils in a Primary School setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning
  • Demonstrate and promote positive values, attitudes, and behaviors
  • Support the class teacher by working with individuals or small groups
  • Prepare the classroom as directed for lessons
  • Keep aware of pupil problems, progress, and achievements to report to the teacher

Requirements:

  • Past experience of working in a Primary School as a Teaching Assistant
  • Strong commitment to the personal development of pupils
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and small groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
