Fire Alarm System Service Engineer

Johnson Controls is a global leader in engineering and integrated solutions, with a strong presence in the fire and security sector. We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team and work on fire alarm systems.

This role involves servicing fire alarm systems to industry standards, providing exceptional customer service, and working with industry-leading technical knowledge. The successful candidate will have the ability to identify and rectify problems before they occur, and will work within a high-performing team focusing on a geographical region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to exceed expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Service fire alarm systems safely and responsibly, avoiding injuries, damage to property, and loss of unused materials.
  • Manage time efficiently and prioritize jobs correctly.
  • Complete engineer work reports, handover certificates, and BSIA certificates as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the fire and security industry.
  • Driving license.
  • Ability to lift and climb ladders.
  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment.
