Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will conduct thorough assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

You will work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders. Your compassion and clinical expertise will help customers move forward with their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to understand the impact of a person's disability or health condition on their daily life.
  • Produce detailed reports to help determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision.
  • Have at least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of an NHS ambulance trust.
  • Be comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
