Job Title: Senior Subeditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Subeditor to join our content production team at Hello Limited. As a Senior Subeditor, you will be responsible for editing and fact-checking copy for accuracy, clarity, and style adherence, ensuring content meets the highest editorial standards for print and digital publication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit and fact-check copy for accuracy, clarity, and style adherence
  • Manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Stay informed about celebrity, royal, and lifestyle events, industry trends, and audience preferences
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of editorial style guides and standards
  • Mentor and train younger writers
Requirements:
  • Strong subediting skills across digital and print platforms
  • Exceptional editing skills with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong command of headline writing and other page/digital furniture
  • Proficiency in print production software, digital editing tools, and content management systems
