About Baka: As a small independent artisan bakers, we pride ourselves on producing high-quality bakery products that delight our customers.

We are looking for a skilled baker to join our team, working closely with our owner to develop new recipes and products, including gluten-free and vegan options.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience as a baker or pastry chef to take their skills to the next level, with a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, 20 days paid holiday, free food, and a bonus incentive scheme after a qualifying period.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an awareness of the weekly production plan and ensure that this is always met
  • Stock control and assist in purchase planning
  • Perform key quality and food safety checks
  • Prepare custom-made pastries to customer orders

You Will Need:

  • Experienced as a baker or pastry chef or similar role within a retail environment
  • Familiarity with all professional kitchen mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
  • Understanding of food safety practices (to at least level 2)
