Job Title: Deputy Manager - EBD/LD Environment

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to lead our care team in an EBD/LD environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support, with a strong focus on leadership and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the care team to ensure high-quality care and support is delivered to service users.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of service users with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and/or Learning Disabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and CQC standards.
  • Support staff in handling challenging situations, providing guidance in de-escalation techniques and other appropriate interventions.
  • Act as a point of contact for families, external professionals, and regulatory bodies, building positive relationships to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with strong people management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of EBD/LD care and support, with a focus on leadership and development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, families, and external professionals.
