Job Summary

Lord Accounting & Finance is seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Financial Planning and Analysis Professional to assist the Finance Director in streamlining FP&A reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all budgeting and planning to ensure financial clarity of commercial business decisions
  • Play a key role in forecasting and budgeting using data-driven decision making
  • Extract meaningful information from the accounting system and use Power BI to investigate and present historical trends
  • Build out forward-looking forecasting and accurate budgets
  • Analyse scenarios and make more accurate forecasts based on historical data and trends
  • Work closely with non-finance stakeholders throughout the business to ensure clear, concise, and robust forecast and budgeting models

Requirements

  • Qualified ACA/ACMA/ACCA with proven experience working in FP&A
  • Commercial outlook and ability to drive continuous improvement and align FP&A reporting to the overall strategic direction of the group
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills and in-depth knowledge of Power BI
  • Knowledge of Oracle Netsuite is a distinct advantage
