We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our team at Harlands Road, Haywards Heath. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
  • Food preparation, including making sandwiches and cold food
  • General front-of-house duties, such as clearing tables and customer service
  • Till work and taking payments
  • Restocking items and stock rotation
  • General cleaning of front and back of house
  • Sweeping and mopping to maintain a high standard of cleanliness

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar catering role is desirable, but full training will be provided
  • Customer-focused and enthusiastic team player
  • A flexible approach to duties and a willingness to learn
  • A DBS check will be required for this role
