Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN TutorJob Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preparing for their English and Maths GCSE exams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of each student.
  • Deliver lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, adapting teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure seamless integration of SEN support into the curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience working with students with SEN.
  • Strong knowledge of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and teaching staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and experience working in a tutoring or mentoring capacity.
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time, temporary role with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate both students and tutors. You will be working in a supportive educational environment, ensuring the best outcomes for students with SEN.
