Workshop Plant Engineer Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workshop Plant Engineer to join our team based in the Sandhurst area. As a Workshop Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a fleet of heavy plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, rollers, and excavators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and service heavy plant machinery to ensure it is fit for hire
- Perform PDIs, services, maintenance, and repairs as required
- Work independently to manage your workload and ensure all machinery is in good working order
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a workshop plant fitter, plant engineer, or similar role
- Knowledge of construction plant manufacturers, including JCB, CAT, Volvo, Kubota, Hitachi, and Komatsu
- Extensive experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs
