Optometrist Role Overview

Optegra is seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team in York. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing and developing business, providing exceptional patient care and benefiting from our fully funded training programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct pre and post-operative consultations to assess patient suitability for treatment
- Run acute and follow-up clinics post-surgery for all patients
- Provide health advice and support to patients attending the hospital
- Offer first-line clinical advice to patients and refer to a medical practitioner as necessary

Requirements

- Current GOC registration as a fully qualified optometrist
- IP qualification with an interest in YAG laser treatment
- Extensive experience working as an optometrist in a refractive, high street, or hospital environment
