Operatives Wanted: Join Our Operations Team

We are currently seeking experienced and dynamic Operatives to join our operations team at Tarmac Trading Limited, a leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions business.

About the Role

As an Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking all site duties safely and in accordance with CRH and SHE safety protocols.
  • Receiving, storing, producing, dispatching, and maintaining housekeeping standards.
  • Meeting daily production target requirements.
  • Reporting data for quality purposes.
  • Moving, loading, and unloading products from the plant and vehicles.
  • Meeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround.

Salary & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £34,000 - £39,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience working in a similar production and despatch environment.
  • Good communication skills and numeracy.
  • Proficient communication skills.
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Manual handling experience.
  • An FLT licence (desirable).
