Handyman Professional

South Care Homes Ltd is looking for a skilled Maintenance/Handyperson to join our team. As a Maintenance/Handyperson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. If you have a passion for maintenance and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This is a full-time position, working 5 days over a 7-day period, with on-call duties every other weekend. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance services, including both planned and reactive maintenance issues.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Providing maintenance services in accordance with current best practices, policy, and procedures
• Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance issues, prioritizing tasks based on urgency
• Ensuring service users' rights are protected

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Vocational qualification/HNC/City and Guilds in Maintenance or Building Services (desirable)
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience of working in a similar environment
