We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team at a school in Basingstoke, Hampshire. The successful candidate will have experience working with students with SEMH needs and a passion for delivering engaging and supportive lessons.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver tailored Maths lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEMH challenges.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with SENCOs and support staff.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to provide a holistic approach to each student's development.
- Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs or SEN is essential.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude towards teaching and behaviour management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
