Performance Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Performance & Data Analyst to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with a Local Authority in Bexley to assist with the appointment of a Performance & Data Analyst, on a 6-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension.

• Analyse performance management information to develop and monitor performance targets, supporting service areas in using data to drive improvement and proposing remedial action where necessary.
• Collate, analyse, monitor, and challenge outturns and trends from performance management information to identify emerging issues and advise service managers of implications to enable action to be taken to improve service delivery.
• Liaise with London Councils, Central Government, Local Authorities, and other relevant organisations to benchmark Bexley's performance and inform service improvement.
• Ensure data contributes towards the Council meeting its statutory duties, particularly in relation to Equalities, regulators, and statistical returns.
• Develop policies, systems, and procedures on data handling and information sharing to ensure high-quality data and outcomes, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Council's services.

• Degree or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Knowledge and understanding of the role and functions of local government.
