Role Overview:

MPJ Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our client's team in South Manchester. As a key member of the property law team, you will be responsible for handling property transactions, drafting legal documents, and providing expert advice on property matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Title Checks: Conduct thorough title checks to ensure the accuracy of property ownership and identify any potential issues.
  • Mortgage Reports: Prepare and review mortgage reports to ensure compliance with lender requirements.
  • Drafting Documents: Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and deeds, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Client Advice: Provide expert advice to clients on property law matters, including conveyancing, leasehold, and freehold transactions.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on property law matters, including case law and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate with clients and other parties to resolve disputes and communicate effectively to ensure a smooth conveyancing process.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review documentation, including reports and contracts, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Client Meetings: Attend and arrange client meetings to discuss property law matters and provide expert advice.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in residential conveyancing, including freehold, leasehold, new builds, sales, and purchases.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of property law, including conveyancing, leasehold, and freehold transactions.
  • Ability: Ability to handle challenging conveyancing matters and communicate effectively with clients and other parties.
