We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our finance team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor accounts payable processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
- Resolve any invoice discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Proven experience in an accounts payable role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum.
