We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Healthcare Pharmacy Technician - Medication Optimisation. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that medication is used safely and effectively across our organisation.
The successful candidate will focus on facilitating provision of pharmaceutical care, including ordering, transport, preparation, administration, storage, and disposal of medicines.
**Key Duties:**
- Facilitating provision of pharmaceutical care
- Ensuring effective medicine stock control and storage
- Providing advice on safe and secure handling of medicines
- Minimising pharmaceutical waste and optimising treatment options
**Person Specifications:**
- General Pharmaceutical Council registration, UK
- BTEC in pharmacy-related field
- Royal Pharmaceutical Society membership, UK
- Experience in mental health hospital pharmacy environment or similar
**Estimated Annual Salary:** £40,000 - £50,000
