Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced vehicle technician to join our established workshop in Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas. As a vehicle technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure road worthiness and reliability to DVSA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles to ensure road worthiness and reliability to DVSA standards.
  • Diagnostics and repair of mechanical issues to include steering, suspension, brake systems, fuel & air systems, transmission and driveline.
  • Diagnostics and repair of electrical issues including ABS, EBS, HVAC and multiplex CAN systems.
  • Replacement of major units
  • Repairs including engine repair/rebuild
  • Use of Dealer level and generic diagnostic equipment to assist in time-efficient repair
  • Repair and maintenance of vehicles to manufacturer standards and schedules
  • Maintenance of health and safety standards and work within company guidelines and safe working practices
  • Complete job cards, maintenance records and associated paperwork to a good standard.

Requirements:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced vehicle technician with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair. You will have a good understanding of vehicle systems and be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
