Teaching English Position Overview:

Reed are currently working in partnership with a secondary school based around the Corby area to recruit a full-time English Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the English national curriculum and be able to confidently teach both English Language and English Literature.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues within the department and communicate effectively
  • Promote pupils' positive health, safety and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Hold a UK QTS qualification
  • Have relevant experience teaching English in a UK school (secondary mainstream or SEN)
  • Bachelor's Degree in English (Language or Literature) & successfully completed PGCE or Schools Direct

Estimated Salary: £175 per day
