We're Huws Gray Group, a leading provider of building materials across the UK. As a Yard Operative, you'll be a vital part of our team, ensuring our customers receive excellent service. Your role will involve serving customers in the yard, providing knowledge of our stock and ensuring products are ready for deliveries and collections.

Working in one of our branches, you'll be part of a team that's passionate about delivering brilliant customer service and getting the job done. You'll work closely with our drivers to load and unload vehicles, safeguard against loss and theft of stock, and maintain a secure and tidy working environment.

As a Yard Operative with Huws Gray Group, you can expect:

  • To serve customers in the yard, providing a good knowledge of our products and ensuring they're ready for deliveries and collections.
  • To support our drivers by loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring the smooth delivery of our products.
  • To work as part of a team to maintain a secure and tidy working environment, adhering to Health & Safety guidelines.
  • To safeguard against loss and theft of stock, being mindful of our company's security protocols.

Although a forklift licence would be an advantage for this role, it's not essential.
