Therapeutic Play Specialist Opportunity

We have an exciting role available for a highly motivated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with emotional and developmental challenges.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time, permanent position within a vibrant primary school committed to enhancing students' emotional well-being through therapeutic play.
  • You will work closely with SEN staff to design and deliver play activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and communication.
  • Your role will involve facilitating therapeutic play sessions, monitoring student progress, and providing valuable insights to teaching and support staff.
  • You will also engage in training and professional development opportunities focused on play therapy and best practices in supporting children with emotional challenges.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
