Clinical Lead for Parenting Interventions

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a CAMHS Community Practitioner. This is a senior leadership role within the Centre for Parent and Child Support, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based parenting interventions and ongoing research.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide guidance and supervision to clinicians within the service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to vulnerable parents and children.
- Work closely with senior leadership to ensure the service meets national and international standards, and that work with local services is fulfilled according to service level agreements.
- Use understanding of complex social care and health service systems to support the work of the Centre for Parent and Child Support.
- Promote the work of the Centre for Parent and Child Support internally and externally, presenting at conferences and delivering training.
- Qualification in a profession allied to Medicine or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, registered with the HCPC.
- Completed training course in clinical supervision and advanced training in management.
- Experience of working in parenting, child, and adolescent mental health, with vulnerable parents, families, and children.
- Experience of developing, planning, and providing workforce development, training, and teaching to professional groups.
- Advanced project planning and management skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead staff, and provide professional advice to practitioners and local organisations.
- Skills to work effectively with senior managers and practitioners across agencies.
This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
