Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Automation Engineer to join our team at Experian. This is an exciting opportunity to work with complex automation requirements, improve business processes through collaboration and automation.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Mainframe System Automation, Splunk dashboards, and on-call support for OPSMVS, CAView, and iDash issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert Mainframe Automation and output management support
  • Develop and support Splunk dashboards and alerts
  • Provide on-call support for OPSMVS, CAView, and iDash issues
  • Collaborate with Business, Operational Teams, and 3rd Party Vendors to develop technical roadmaps
  • Follow Experian ITIL Business processes, Change, Incident, Problem, and Root Cause Analysis processes
  • Manage Mainframe Automation tools following Experian security, compliance, and policies, using standard tools, e.g. CyberArk, ServiceNow
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working within a complex Mainframe environment
  • Mainframe System Automation software administration on Mainframe systems
  • Experience with Mainframe systems such as OPSMVS, CA-View & CA-Deliver, and REXX
  • Mainframe Operations – JCL, ISPF, JES2, and z/OS

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide:
