Quantitative Developer - Commodities Desk

BlueCrest Capital Management is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Developer to join our Commodities Trading Desk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our quantitative analytics libraries, as well as collaborating with traders and analysts to meet their pricing, risk, and market analysis tool requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quantitative analytics libraries in C#, C++, and Python
  • Collaborate with traders and analysts to understand their requirements and develop solutions
  • Implement regression analysis tools and support existing trading sheets and Python tools
  • Work collaboratively as part of a larger group-wide development team

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in C# quantitative development in the financial industry
  • Python experience in a front office environment, with knowledge of web and data visualization libraries (Dash, Panel, Plotly, etc.)
  • Commodities experience, including understanding of exchange and OTC contracts in gas, power, oil, and products
  • Experience in C++ is preferred
