About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Credit Control Specialist to join our client's Credit & Collections team in Aberdeen, UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and collections, working closely with the Sales, Project, and Administration teams to resolve issues and ensure timely payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply payments to customer accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow up on customers with overdue balances to ensure prompt payment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues causing delays in payments.
Requirements
  • Experience in credit and collections, preferably in an accounting or finance role.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Skills
