Job Summary

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support vulnerable children and young people in a challenging yet rewarding role. As a Graduate Clinical Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with students aged 4-19 who require additional support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with special educational needs, including those with social, emotional, and mental health challenges and traumas.
  • Identify risks and needs, escalating where necessary to ensure the well-being and safety of students.
  • Provide consistency and equip students with tools to feel safe, secure, empowered, and able to succeed in life.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to support students with complex needs.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Criminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students with complex needs.

  • Competitive daily rate of £80-£85.
  • Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30.
