Role Overview

You will be supporting adults with lots of different needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health. You will empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives. Your role will involve giving high-quality support tailored to people's needs, including practical support like managing medication, shopping, health needs, and hygiene as well as keeping things tidy and safe.

Responsibilities

  • You'll provide emotional support and encouragement to help individuals build confidence and independence.
  • You'll assist with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
  • You'll maintain accurate records of individual's progress and well-being.
  • You'll contribute to a positive and respectful team environment.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £11.70 per hour, which is above the national average for this role. Additionally, you will receive:

Your Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you should have a genuine passion for providing care and support. While previous experience within a social care setting is desirable, it is not essential. You should possess excellent communication skills, patience, and understanding. You will also need to be able to commit to undertaking training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
