Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of tax accountants and providing guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Reviewing and preparing corporation tax computations and workings.
  • Leading advisory work with clients, including corporate tax advisory skills.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure clients are benefitting from all business services.
  • Providing training and development for colleagues and team members.
  • Representing the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior tax professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of our tax department. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and develop your skills and expertise in tax advisory and planning.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £140,000 - £180,000 per annum, as well as a range of benefits including a generous pension scheme, annual leave, and hybrid working options.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • CTA qualification with further accountancy qualifications (STEP, ACA, ACCA, CA) being desirable.
  • Extensive tax advisory and planning experience.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with good people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills.
  • Sound attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
