We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Homelessness Support Worker to join our team at Depaul UK. As a key member of our adult-focused service, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering individuals on their journey towards independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk and needs assessments to develop effective support plans for clients.
  • Work collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients to help them sustain their tenancy and participate in positive move-on opportunities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients, including the use of safeguarding and emergency alert procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with clients with mental health and substance misuse support needs.
  • Ability to work with clients whose behavior may be personally challenging.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships and boundaries with clients.
  • Experience working in partnership with multi-agency teams, including social workers, drug/alcohol support services, and mental health professionals.
  • A knowledge and understanding of risk assessments and support planning.
