Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Cover Supervisor to join our team at an Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Kingston-upon-Thames.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience and build a career in education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms in the absence of teachers, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, and maintaining student engagement and discipline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage classrooms in the absence of teachers, ensuring a productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across various subjects.
  • Maintain student engagement and discipline, promoting positive behaviour.
  • Support students in their learning and development, preparing them for academic success.
Requirements:
  • A minimum 2:1 degree from a top UK university, preferably in a core subject (e.g., English, Maths, Science).
  • Strong classroom presence and excellent communication abilities.
  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is beneficial but not essential.
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.
