Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the effectiveness of the treasury function, ensuring processes and controls operate efficiently across the group
  • Manage daily cash activities to meet local funding requirements, leveraging expertise to minimize borrowing needs
  • Lead the cash planning process, generating balance sheet budgets/forecasts and short-term detailed cash forecasts for the Group
  • Monitor cash positions and related borrowing needs, maintaining financial stability and sufficient funds to meet operational requirements
  • Ensure timely cash extraction from overseas entities to reduce borrowing requirements

Risk Management: Evaluate and enhance internal controls in all banking and treasury processes to strengthen the governance framework

Drive Treasury Policy compliance, execute FX hedging deals in line with the Treasury Policy, and monitor their effectiveness

Review and monitor tax implications on treasury activities in partnership with the central tax function

Manage the overdraft and drawdowns/repayments on revolving credit facilities, ensuring compliance and timely reporting to meet financing agreement requirements

Develop and enhance relationships with international finance teams, banking providers, and other lenders

Deliver timely and insightful treasury reporting, including Executive and Board reporting, as a trusted treasury consultant advising and providing recommendations as required

About the Role: The ideal candidate will possess an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and Treasury Qualification (AMCT), with proven experience in treasury roles within large multinational environments.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in ambiguous situations, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration in their personal working style

Estimated Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience
