Lead IPC and Quality Improvement Initiatives

Join us at First Community Health and Care, a staff-owned social enterprise delivering NHS community services across east Surrey and parts of West Sussex. We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety Consultant to lead IPC and quality improvement initiatives across our organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive change and make a tangible difference in patient safety.

As a key member of our Patient Safety and Quality team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines related to infection prevention and control. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure effective IPC strategies are in place.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines related to infection prevention and control.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure effective IPC strategies are in place.
  • Support the delivery of safe, responsive, and effective infection prevention and control services.

Requirements:
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Involvement in service improvement and implementation of change.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
  • Computer/IT skills.
  • Qualification/training in patient safety and/or IPC.

What We Offer:
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including NHS pension, flexible retirement options, and various employee benefits.
