About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals in East London schools. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN in a secondary school setting.
  • Assist with the implementation of Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school life.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere to promote students' social and emotional development.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs is desirable.
