About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at a children's residential provider in Newark on Trent. The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis with a 2 on 4 off shift pattern, providing support to young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for children to thrive
  • Support young people with challenging behaviours and trauma
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure consistency and continuity
  • Respect and hear the wishes of the children at all times

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or above in Children and Young People's Workforce or willingness to work towards this
  • Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or trauma
  • Flexibility with shifts
