Job Title: Programme Management Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Management Specialist to lead the delivery of our employment support programme in Blackpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated team, overseeing performance, ensuring financial accountability, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.

Duties:

  • Lead the strategic and operational delivery of employment support programmes.
  • Develop and implement tailored customer journey plans, including assessments and return-to-work strategies.
  • Manage and motivate a team, setting clear targets and providing regular supervision.
  • Collaborate with partners, including DWP, training providers, and local employers, to create opportunities for participants.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and funding requirements while maintaining accurate records.
  • Oversee budgets and produce audit-ready financial claims to secure programme funding.

Required Skills:

  • Level 4 qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in managing employment support services.
  • Strong project management skills, ideally with a qualification in the field.
  • Knowledge of employment policies and the needs of individuals with health conditions or complex barriers to employment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets, staff, and complex projects across multiple stakeholders.

Salary: £37,035 - £39,513 per annum (dependent on experience)
