Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team and support our UK region during its next stage of development. This role reports to the Head of Accounting and Tax and will be based in a shared service for Northern Europe.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and code invoices through our accounting software, JD Edwards.
- Create new suppliers on JDE and complete supplier bank verifications.
- Prepare payment runs every two weeks, including autopayments and manual payments.
- Assist with month-end accruals relating to invoices received not yet processed.
- Respond to supplier and staff queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Demonstrable experience in a previous Accounts Payable role.
- JDE experience is desirable, but strong financial system experience is essential.
- Fully proficient in Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with staff at all levels of the organisation.
- Great attention to detail and a self-starter with the drive to get things done on time and accurately.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
- Organised and able to plan and prioritise tasks effectively.
- A good team player, flexible, and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
