We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stores Coordinator. As a Stores Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accepting incoming goods and verifying material numbers, descriptions, and quantities against shipping documents.
- Inspecting incoming goods for visible damage and documenting any findings.
- Operating transport equipment, such as hand-guided industrial trucks and forklifts, safely and correctly.
- Capturing relevant data in data processing systems to maintain accurate records.
- Organising the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area and updating relevant systems.
- Conducting regular stock maintenance and inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Assembling deliveries from designated storage compartments and reviewing them for completeness and accuracy.
- Packaging deliveries according to shipping instructions, common dispatch methods, and other guidelines within the given framework.
- Adding necessary shipping documents to outgoing goods.
- Completing internal and, if applicable, external transports using appropriate means of transportation.
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the logistics industry is highly desirable.
