Job Summary

In-service inspection of Civil and Structural assets is a critical aspect of meeting regulatory and customer requirements. As a Senior Civil/Structural Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for providing inspection services to clients in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of Civil/Structural Inspection opportunities for new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements for ongoing inspections.
  • Prepare proposals for inspections, including scope and estimated costs.
  • Draft and review Written Schemes of Examination (WSE) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify plant preparation requirements from the WSE and develop Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for plant inspections.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of Civil and Structural assets in accordance with the WSE and TUV procedures.
  • Prepare clear and concise written reports, supported by photographs, in compliance with TUV procedures.
  • Assess deterioration and identify any mandatory actions or recommendations.
  • Endorse reports indicating recommended next inspection date(s) and any mandatory actions or recommendations.
  • Issue reports in electronic and/or hard copy format.
About the Role

This is a hybrid working opportunity based in the North East (Billingham) or North West (Warrington). As a Senior Civil/Structural Inspection Engineer, you will be part of a team that provides expert inspection services to clients in the UK.

This role requires a strong understanding of Civil and Structural asset inspection and risk assessment principles, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
