We are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to join our team as a Design and Development Specialist. The role will involve working on the development of FPGA prototypes for ASIC designs, utilizing Arm's leading CPU and system IP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed technical understanding of incoming Arm IP RTL designs and make relevant design changes to construct an FPGA prototype.
- Estimate and own tasks, deliver against a plan, and maintain a focus on engineering efficiency and quality.
- Create high-quality, clear, and accurate technical documentation, including RTL creation and modification.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, with written and spoken English.
- A creative and structured approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge and experience of implementation of DDR memory sub-systems.
- Programming languages such as assembly language (ideally Arm assembler), higher-level (e.g. C++).
- Use of a UNIX environment and shell programming.
- Scripting skills in Python, Tcl, etc.
