Special Needs Assistant

We're seeking a dedicated Special Needs Assistant to join our team and support learners with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), including those with Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where every child's academic, cognitive, behavioral, and social needs are prioritized. Our school offers a unique blend of primary and secondary provision, providing a comprehensive education for students with diverse needs.
The ideal candidate will have relevant SEN experience, along with experience working with children and young adults. A GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification is also essential. We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. This full-time position comes with a range of benefits, including career progression opportunities, fully funded training and qualifications, and access to our welcoming staff room with resources and equipment.
As a Special Needs Assistant, your responsibilities will include supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons, as well as providing individual support to learners with SEN on a small group and whole class basis.

About the Role:
