About the Role
Avery Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care and creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, identifying any changes that may impact care and ensuring that new needs are met.
- Be involved in person-centred care planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
- Support residents with their medication requirements, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Undertake staff supervisions and provide support with staff development, helping to build a positive and supportive team culture.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, ensuring that any reasonable requests are met and concerns or complaints are escalated.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment, and excellent communication skills.
