The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking advocacy requirements
  • Keeping up to date with procedural changes, case law, and legislative developments
  • Assisting less experienced employees with their advocacy and drafting work
  • Providing a high-quality advocacy service

The role will involve travel across England and Wales, which may require overnight stays. We are happy to consider candidates with wider litigation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as counsel for clients in general civil litigation claims
  • Interim Application Hearings
  • Other forms of advocacy in claimant litigation
  • Drafting pleadings for commercial disputes
  • Managing your advocacy diary

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable advocacy experience
  • Flexible approach
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Case Management Systems
