We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in Buckinghamshire. As part of our vibrant team, you will provide exceptional veterinary care while working in a dynamic environment.
Salary InformationThe salary for this role is £75,000 per annum.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice and make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. You will be responsible for performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- You will conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- You will collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- You will provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- You will maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Performing Routine ExaminationsYou will perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
Conducting Surgical ProceduresYou will conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
Collaborating with Veterinary StaffYou will collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Providing Guidance and AdviceYou will provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
Qualifications and Skills RequiredTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- A valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- A compassionate and caring approach to animals.
