Graham Asset Management Limited is searching for a skilled Procurement Specialist to oversee the procurement process for minor works projects based on first principles. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to effectively manage finances and maintain relationships with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of procurement activities for minor works projects based on first principles.
  • Coordination with the Commercial Team to ensure timely submissions and accurate reporting.
  • Review and approval of subcontract documents.
  • Analysis of variation claims and their impact on the project.
  • Development of cost-saving strategies to minimize losses.
  • Collaboration with subcontractors to negotiate prices and delivery timelines.
  • Provision of procurement expertise to support the Contract Managers.
  • Development and maintenance of RFI/COI schedules.
  • Recommendations for improved processes and procedures.
  • Cost-effectiveness analysis and implementation of measures to reduce waste.
  • Presentation of findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in procurement roles, preferably within Hard FM Maintenance contracts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and industry standards.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience with IT applications (e.g., MS Office, Excel).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Understanding of commercial and contractual issues related to Facilities Management and NEC 4.

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus car allowance.
