Paratus People is seeking an exceptional AR/MR Software Developer to join our team in Cambridge or Staines-upon-Thames. As a Technical Graphics Specialist, you will play a key role in the development of state-of-the-art graphics and rendering algorithms for frameworks on desktop and mobile devices, including AR and MR.

We require a highly skilled individual with expertise in Computer Graphics, rendering techniques, and software development. If you have experience with APIs such as OpenGL, OpenGL ES, Vulkan, or DirectX, mesh manipulation algorithms, and soft shadows, image-based lighting, and global illumination, this could be the perfect role for you.

The ideal candidate will have experience in C++ / Python and be able to contribute to the research and development of advanced graphics and rendering algorithms. They will also be able to propose innovative ideas for overcoming technical challenges and enhancing user experience.

Key Skills Required:
  • Expertise in Computer Graphics using APIs such as OpenGL, OpenGL ES, Vulkan, or DirectX
  • Mesh manipulation algorithms
  • Rendering techniques such as Soft Shadows, Image-based Lighting, Global Illumination etc.
  • Software development experience in C++ / Python – (C# and Java)
