Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing construction and recycling plant equipment across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair plant equipment, including diggers, dumpers, excavators, and static plant.
  • Carry out breakdown, service, and repairs to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Travel to various locations, including the Midlands and North East areas, to perform maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Mobile Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, or Plant Technician.
  • Knowledge of plant machinery, including excavators, diggers, rollers, and dumpers.
  • NVQ, City and Guilds qualification in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £16.00-£17.50.
  • Overtime at an additional rate after 42.5 hours.
  • 21 days holiday + bank holidays.
  • Transit van provided.
